AFRICAN AVIATION 2022 comprising the 30th Annual MRO AFRICA and the 9th AFRICAN AVIATION TRAINING CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION.
The African airline industry has come a long way since the first African Aviation Conference & Exhibition was launched over 30 years ago. In the early days, the focus of MRO Africa was primarily on ensuring that Africa’s fleet of mostly ageing commercial aircraft was properly maintained to ensure air safety. The continent lagged behind the rest of the world in terms of fleet modernisation. Today, the fleets of many African airlines have been completely transformed with the acquisition of sophisticated modern aircraft, both turboprops and jetliners.
New technology aircraft present new MRO challenges for African carriers. It is thus opportune that the world’s leading MRO service providers and suppliers, long-term supporters of MRO Africa, are seeking to expand their relationships with airlines and aircraft operators in Africa. MRO Africa will once again provide a unique platform for all the key players to explore a wide scope of opportunities for the development of MRO partnerships and joint ventures in Africa.
