The 2022 conference theme “Re-Building Bridges: Supporting human performance in the ‘new’ normal” is inspired by two trends.

The first is the re-building of aviation following the Covid-19 pandemic. The “new normal” is a term introduced by ICAO referring to the continuous application of protection measures to prevent Covid-19 transmission and the stepwise return to “normal” operations. The second is linked to the EAAP Board building bridges in form of strategic partnerships with other professional aviation organisations around the globe. We have formed new links with South America, Asia and national European aviation psychology associations (e.g. IT-APA).

EAAP has also built new bridges with several specialised European aviation organisations who have joined us as new corporate members. The 34th EAAP Conference also will provide a platform to strengthen existing and new strategic partnerships.
